I started creating this book back in the mid-1990s. I didn’t know it then when I rewrote a song just for the fun of it. That first song, “It’s how twins are born”, sat in my filing cabinet for almost 20 years until I got the urge to write another one, “Welcome to the bird nest” in 2017. And then wrote the remaining 18 songs in the past 2 years. Go to the Highlights section below and get a 1-verse sneak peek of these two songs plus 3 others. Enjoy!

About The Author

PETER QUIGLEY

I was born and raised by my parents, Hugh and Elizabeth, in Reading, PA. I grew up like a normal kid — went to school, graduated, went to college, graduated with a B.S. in computer science/math. I’ve held numerous jobs, got married, had a kid, and then got divorced. Today, at age 56, I live about 10 miles from my childhood home. Married to my wife, Tammey, for 15 years, had a son, Mason, in 2008 and adopted her three kids — Kaylee, Breann, and Dominic — in 2012. There have been two constants through all this — a love of music and a sense of humor which I got from my father. It’s been about a quarter of a century since I wrote my first song and for the last year or so, I’ve continued to combine those two constants. You now hold in your hands the final product….

About The Book

TWISTED TUNES

This interactive book takes classic songs by the artists you have come to know and love and turns them — or should I say twists them — into something different and funny. Songs by Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Metallica, Foreigner, and more are now songs about losing your hair, droughts, being late for school, and circumcisions! I guarantee you won’t listen to these songs the same again! Thank you for your purchase, enjoy, and remember…. Keep smiling!
